Friendship Bracelet for Haylee

I made this years ago in an art class I took in high school. While talking to Haylee she told me her favorite colors were green, black, and pink. I intended to mail it to her or rather, give it to her when we finally got to meet in person. After her passing, I took to wearing it myself in her memory. As you can see, it has aged and the pink has faded unfortunately. Still this is something I treasure above all things and it is key inspiration for The Invisible World. For those who read my pitch, knows the story. For those who didn't, years ago, I was on my way to school and it was raining heavily, not to mention really windy. Having an umbrella was 100% useless. Thankfully the school bus was coming sooner than it usually did, but the wind and rain destroyed my umbrella and I was soaked from head to toe. Everyone was, yet something happened. The bracelet was completely dry..as if untouched. I wasn't much of a believer in spirits or ghosts but that event changed my mind as all I can think about is Haylee, standing there and grabbing my wrist to keep the bracelet from getting wet and blown away by the wind. I honestly believed she's been with me ever since, popping in and out to check on me and confirm to me that our love was not halted by death.
